Beneath Lucifer's Wings

by Heather M Craig   Jun 5, 2005

Beneath His scaly crimson wings,
He unleashes His prison of malice
that dissolves into my flesh
and pierces my glistening eyes.

I fight His collection in flames
with the mask of glory framed high,
but His bitter strength and power
can see through my camoflauged lies.

He unveils my weak points
and pushes me into my agony
with His torment and given affliction,
He aims to take control of me.....

Beneath His fiery red eyes,
He targets my soul of serenity
but my purity melts His sinister force
as He loses control over me.

This is a battle I have fought many times, and it the light of grace and love that always prevail. I love it! If you get a chance, read mine called "The Coming Battle" and "Of Us". They're more visionary, but along the same line.

Excellent write Heather, I especially love the last stanza and the last line, as He loses control over me. Great job
