A thousand broken promises.

by Steven Beesley   Jun 24, 2005

A thousand broken promises from a thousand broken days.

A thousand tiny splinters from a thousand broken dreams.

A thousand fragmented wishes from a thousand failed prayers.

And a thousand glass pieces that ruptured this tiny heart.

A million tomorrows will continue to keep us apart.

A million tomorrows will not heal this love lorn poet's heart.

I would die ten million times over for one more look into your sweet face.

I would love you till infinity should you come back to my embrace.

I'm am like a poor angel that has fallen from grace. All I beg is your understanding, your love, support and faith.
