Never Knew Love

I never knew love before,
until you came around.
I hadn't shared the special things
like I have with you.
The kind of things no one sees. Except for me and you.
The kiss that makes
you lose your step.
The touch to make you shiver.
The hug so pure you close your eyes
Or the words that make you quiver.
My pounding heart beat faster As you clasp my hands in yours.
When your lips touched mine My mind began to soar.
When your hands caressed me I could feel your heart pound.
Are bodies would grow closer Our fingers locked and bound.
Your arms would wrap around me And draw me very near.
Your breath I'd feel heathing As you'd whisper in my ear.
You would speak so softly Saying only a word or two.
And when you were done I would take your hand And say,
"I love you too".
