The withered world

This Withered World

It seems this world is bleeding,
So full of walking dead,
Only tending to themselves,
For it seems their heart was bled,

It seems that they are blind,
So oblivious to the pain,
Only selfish in their cause,
For it seems that Love is bane,

It seems that they are deaf,
So deafened by their dream,
Only hearing what they need,
For at night, they’d hear her scream,

It seems they do not feel,
So scared to sense such grief,
Only making it so real,
For the girl who needs relief.

It seems they do not cry,
So tearless with their face,
Only fearing what is real
The pain which won't erase,

It seems that night she died,
So dead before her life,
If only they had tried
To stop her pain and strife.
