Scent of Autumn.

by Steven Beesley   Aug 27, 2005

The swirling of the leaves
Many colors of yellow, brown and red
A majestic carpet is all around
Nature's splendor, I am in awe

The changing of the seasons
Small squirrels scurrying about
The breeze gently swaying the bough
Afternoon's that are warm

See the rope swing move so gently
Couples hand in hand take their walks
Old men playing their game of chess
Dogs prancing about

The days they begin to become short
Air now fresh and crisp
Smell of pine, their cones scattered everywhere
The scent of Autumn so near

Brilliant job. Such beautiful descriptions, you've painted the perfect scenery which looks just like the morning outside as I see it! Gave me some shivers reminding of how good Autumn actually is.
