Letting Go Of You (losing someone to suicide)

by HighPerfection   Nov 3, 2005

I was holding on so hard
Our hold on each other was solid
You were holding on by the top of the cliff
You leaned backward
Looked into my eyes and said goodbye
I watched your hand let go of mine
Hesitantly I scream no as reality sets in
And begin to fall the wrong way
Into the pit of depression
But before I hit the bottom
I heard a gunshot ring out and
I knew you were gone
And you had to let go

Rest in peace my M.P. my second friend who decided to let go of my hand
