A poem for Gesselle.

by Steven Beesley   Nov 27, 2005

A poem for Gesselle:

Gesselle, why have you gone?
I miss your writing so,
there are many of us who miss you.
You suddenly left without even a goodbye?

Day after day, many of us roam in search!
In search of you and your poetry to read once more.
We continue to hope that you will be back with us once more.
Missing your words is like missing a breath of fresh air.

Why have you left your dear friend behind?
There is an empty void in all our hearts,
a vacuum where your poetry once lay.
Why have you given up?

My friend I miss you so,
will you not come back and stay?
Stay with so many that treasure your gift.
Return and make the sun rise beautifully again each day.
We are all saddened by your departure.

Please come back to your friends!

This poem is for Gesselle Valle.

Beautiful and I've had the priviledge of reading a lot of her work...She is talented....she would drop by and comment on mine and come to think of it she hasn't in a while...Maybe she will start back writing and I hope everything is fine with her...This was sweet of you...and a Great job you did.

A beautiful dedication. I've never read her work but she must be very talented to be missed so much.

Thank you Steve. I miss her too. She is a wonderful, talented writer. Occassionally I get a comment from her, but I miss her on this site. Beautiful poem and wonderfully put.
