Simple words,
Yet all from the heart.
Can make you smile,
When you've fallen apart.

I barely know you,
Yet to you I'd tell my soul.
Because you are always there,
And make me feel whole.

Thank you so much,
For showing me you care.
That I'm not just dirt,
And worth more than a spare.

I speak to you through words,
That are coming from within.
Every step that you take,
Is closer to this war we can win.

So thank you once again,
For being a special friend.
Words speak so loud,
And I'll be there till the end.
