Gazing out...

Gazing out into the world,
the cruel wind seems icy to my spine.
What a beautiful, beautiful world this is,
for a moment all around is mine.

I'm wishing to myself, I were one of those people
who write of their wondrous life.
"Always concentrate on the positive,
and forget all of your strife".

I know I'm loved, you don't have to say so!
I don't need to know someone is thinking of me now...
I love this world, maybe even my life?
I'd any day rather smile than frown.

But if I need help, should I be ashamed to ask,
and keep it to myself, hidden, deep inside.
That's what I've always done in the past.
I'm ashamed, I don't want to confide...

To the people, who tell me how silly I am,
I really don't know how to win.
'Cos if I told you how bad I'm feeling,
you'd simply say "it's a passing thing".

- You'd say "don't worry all will be fine",
But I'm scared it's going to happen a second time.
I've been there, done that, got the scars,
and now I want this life to feel MINE

    I'm not sure the title fits though... But maybe if I read it in a different light it would...
    But this was a really good poem... Definately how I feel most the time 'I know I"m loved' all that .. Yeah.. Nicely written.

    Im not sure about the title, but the catagory is perfect!!
    Really interesting poem! I enjoyed reading it. Somehow the rhythm seemed a bit off though, but maybe thats just me:)
    Anyways your a really good writer!! Keep it up!!!

    Wow I Loved This Poem! Its Great And I Think Everything Is Fine About It! Thanks For The Advice On My Poem I Appreciate It!
