You're A Cheat.

by Steven Beesley   Feb 5, 2006

You're a Cheat:

Pretty but laced like deadly poison,
oblivious to how deep you had hurt me.
Liar, betraying me with my friend,
letting everything we cherish go to waste.
Yet you did not feel any remorse inside.

Losing yourself in your selfish ways,
indifference to my feelings to the last.
Always frigid to your sins,
resourceful only in cheating my heart.
So never shall I have any respect for you.

Such a miserable cold heart.
Infatuation with your own needs,
merciless to who you hurt along the way.
Oh you really are such a phony and fake.
Never will you find peace in your mind.

Hi, I'm new :-). I just wanted to say that I like your poems, you pour so much emotion into them. I know how you feel, but the feeling's unexplainable sometimes. You're a very wonderful :-).

    Infatuation with your own needs,
that's a beautiful way to describe self centredness.

    hope you are ok, Steve.
    take care
