X Lost

I wander these streets
Lost in my own mind
Lost in all the turmoil
I tried to leave behind

I walk along the alley
As the rain begins to pour
I'm lost in all my nightmares
Just as sad as I was before

I tried to run away
From the place where I belong
Now I'm lost in nothing better
Than the things that I ran from

Now I'll never find my way
Even lost in my own heart
Lost on the way home
Lost because we are apart

I need you, I need your light
To guide me through the darkest night
I need your warmth, to block the frost
I need you to stop me from becoming
Lost.

    Sole, this was beautiful emotion penned, Lovers drift apart and feel so close yet so far apart. Trying to capture those feelings in this hypothetical poem.
    "The worst kind of missing
    is missing someone who is
    sitting right next to you
    Until you felt so far apart."
