Dawn of a failed closure

by EoB   Mar 23, 2006

My soul will blend with autumn`s wind,
roam pained by roses grown within.
Thorns of despair, thorns of good-bye,
made sharp by silver from the sky.

A final sunrise blinding us,
hands fail to find eachother thus.
A fleeting glimpse of something new
drowned in the streams of morning dew.

Surrender in the last embrace
let flow the rivers on my face.
Reflected gold enflames her eye,
the end of eras drawing nigh.

Forever shall my hopes sustain
to find a sweetness in the pain.
Her eyes my heart will still pursue
through dreams of her, and break anew.
