X A Dying Pledge

by Sole   Mar 31, 2006

Windy, stormy, flowing through
The seven storey tower block
Freezing cold, my hands turn blue
As people stand and stare in shock.

My hair, streaming in the gale
My feet curl over the edge
Abulance's sirens wail
As I make my dying pledge

I promise not to fall in vain
I have a reason, understand
No longer can I feel, but pain
Theres no-one here to hold my hand

Spread my arms, prepare to fly
Tilt my head and watch the floor
Rise towards me, I'm ready to die
And I'll be in peace forever more.
