Tearful, watching you leave
You left me, alone at the end
I find it hard to believe
That you were once my friend

Hanging, cutting and hate
Falling, forever alone
Perhaps it's the path of fate
But your choice is not set in stone

Years down the road, and still
I wait for you, for your return
Missing you, too much time to kill
But I'm not your only concern

Shallow, emotionless tears
Fall from my saddened eyes
As every one of my fears
Is confirmed by your loveless lies

    Not bad! For starters, I really liked how you rhymed line 1 with 3, but still rhymed 2 with 4. It added a nice twist, in which most people fail to include in their poetry. I think that you as a person are a true poet, and keep up your great work.
