Written in the stars

Why do I have to be me?
I want so bad to be someone on t.v.
why was i given this give of flow
i feel like the insanity that grew in Poe

I'll die someday of that I'm sure
probably feeling the same; insecure
My days are awful, my nights are hell
was it really sixteen when I truly fell?

Why is it so hard for me to look good
I'd change, on the outside if I could
the inside too if that needed to be fixed
I would do anything, if you truly insist

Was it written in a star
the who, what, when, and how we are
is there anyone who can read
can someone still believe?

If everyone is good at something
then I'm good a failure
I feel like your typical white horror movie or some theater trailer
my life is not what I wanted, truly I thought I'd be happy
while I'm at it, I ask that you don't hate me pa pi

I'm going down in flames and bringing them too
so i sit in my room and keep away from the damage I'd do
You're probably wondering what could make me get so down
it all started one day with something as small as a frown

A tear came shortly after
then came another after that
pretty soon my life was pathetic and poor
but I'm trying to look this all away behind closed door

Was it written in a star
the who, what, when, and how we are
is there anyone who can read
can someone still believe?

    I really like this one, however it did lose me in the middle somewhere.

    Why is it so hard for me to look good
    I'd change, on the outside if I could
    the inside too if that needed to be fixed
    I would do anything, if you truly insist

    ^^ my favourite stanza. awesome write. it makes me think of true love, but only from your side, and you are willing to do anything for the other to love you back.

    If everyone is good at something
    then I'm good a failure

    ^^ you described what many people would feel at some stage.

    but I'm trying to look this all away behind closed door

    ^^ is look meant to be lock?

    overall very good.

    A touching read.. The flow of the words and the description of emotion is amazing... Very creative and a personal write...

    I havent been on here lately because I had lost touch with my more poetic side. I read all of my comments and I liked yours the most. I love this poem so much and from what you say in this poemI can relate all the way.
