The Scarred Star

by Rain   Jun 19, 2006

As I gase apon a wishing star
I see its glorious blaze,
but still I think of all the others
That have ceased to amaze.
Yet this one star which I saw first
Is the star I wish, tonight,
Would take the bad out of my day
And make it all turn right.
Still....this one thing remains
Of the nightmare left behind:
The scar imprinted on my soul
That can never be refined.
~Wishing stars might make it better
And make it seem okay...
But still you rot deep inside
And let your heart decay.~
