The Angels

by BleedingAngel   Aug 7, 2006

Rain is falling from the sky
It's the Angels who are crying
For all of the lost souls
And the people who are dying

My momma always told me
Not to be afraid in stormy weather
It's the Angels who are bowling
They are just having fun together

She told me that every little girl
Has an Angel on her shoulder
The Angel will protect you and
Guide you through as you grow older

And when you see a shooting start
Just pray and look up to the sky
It's just another Angel falling
As a child grows old and dies

So when you feel a gentle breeze
At night that runs through your hair
It is the touch of a guardian Angel
Letting you know she is there

Cute. My Mother used to tell me the same thing, yet I'm still terrified of the storms. Anyway, I liked this peice of work. Good Job.

Oh my gosh! I LOVE it! It's cute, but has a point. I love the idea of the angels bowling when it's stormy outside =P The flow was very good, and the rhymes were very well chosen out. 5/5 =) xoxo
