The Girl With The Fake Smile

by BleedingAngel   Sep 12, 2006

I hold her beautiful picture
And try to hold back the tears
What happened to this girl
Over her dark teenage years

I look at her sad smile
And know that it is fake
How can such a sweet girl
Think she is a mistake

She tried to show us
But we noticed too late
Her tragic suicide
Caused by her self hate

I stare at her pale face
And her starved body
Ana and Mia took over
She couldn't see her own beauty

Only a 100 calories a day
Is what she was allowed
She was so weak and sad
Always had her head bowed

I once loved this pretty girl
But she decided to take her life
I took this picture an hour before
She cut her wrists with a knife
