Moving Forward

I'm going insane
Walking outside my mind
Nearing the edge
But leaving it behind

Cause I'm up and down
And all around
I can't make it

I'm in and out
And all about
I can't take it

I've said this before
But it's time to move forward
I'll leave it behind these doors

I'm starting again
Making a brand new me
It's time to change
This old reality

(it's more a song...about just letting go...hence it's just about feelings not deep words and the such.)

    Well, if this was meant for a song, it should get a better rating then 2. I am also a lyricist, and this is pretty good. I can see what the other guy was saying but this is a song and not a full fledged poem.

    Well love, in truth, I wasn't blown away by this poem. I think it was because of the structure. You've got a lot of odd stanzas, and I'm just used to even ones. Also, I think some of the rhyming was a little...confused. I feel really bad about saying these things about you're poem, especially since you've been so nice about mine, but this is what i think. and sadly, i'm going to have to give it a 2/5. I'm really really sorry.

    P.S. Thanks for commenting on my poems, and I'm sorry for the first stanza of 'Life doesn't always work out the way you think' wasn't as good as you'd hoped, but I'm glad you told me. It's nice to get ACTUAL opinions and advice.
