Make-Up Mask

by Gem   Dec 11, 2006

Eye shadow on the eyes
And lipstick on the lips
Fake tan applied with care
And painted fingertips

Adding on some eyeliner
Dabbing on perfume
Smudge a little here and there
She'll be ready soon

Mascared lashes, done in black
Blusher in soft pink
Puts on the finishing touch
Gives the mirror a wink

Steps back to take a look
At her finished face
Putting on a bit more gloss
It's not like it's gone to waste

But when did it become a rule
To each day paint on this mask
Is being happy with the way
We are to much to ask? ©
