I wish I could understand what it is with you,
That draws me in and makes me feel somewhat like a fool.
You seem to think that nothing other than you can run my head,
Take my dreams, the songs of heart, tears no longer shed.
I wish I could understand what it is with you,
That nobody seems to see, nobody has a clue.
Whatever is in your head, in your heart and in your soul,
What makes you think you deserve the innocence that you stole.
I wish I could understand what it is with you,
That makes you think you have the right to treat me like you do.
