Lost Embrace

by Cindy   Jan 8, 2007

You always kissed my forehead,
I would kiss your chin.
Snuggling in your embrace,
You'd look at me and grin.

You would hold me for hours,
I was safe within your arms.
You would calm my fears,
Chase away all life's harms.

In you I found a love,
I never thought I would.
You were the one I leaned on,
Every chance I could.

I search for you in dreams at night,
I rarely find you there.
I miss everything about you,
And all we use to share.
