Last Kiss

by Cindy   Jan 18, 2007

The birds quit singing
Their beautiful songs
The flowers won't bloom
Since you've been gone

Rain is falling down outside
The sun it never shines
Music has no melody
With no one to call mine

The stars don't light
The night sky above
When you left me
You took your love

Butterfly's won't fly anymore
Clouds fill the sky
My world is so lonely
Tears fill my eyes

Everything that is beautiful
Has ceased to exist
When you left me
Taking our last kiss

    That last stanza...wow.
It was so beautifully written, as was the whole poem.
The imagery was fantastic and I thought it flowed very well.
