I am sorry for being blind

I never knew what you were going through,
and how i caused more pain,
i never thought,
from your eyes there came rain,

i didn't know you got hit,
and your mother yelled at you,
at now that i know,
i wish there was something i could do,

i cause you more trouble,
when i should be loving you,
i never even knew,
you had an issue,

i feel so guilty,
of not seeing your pain,
i must be blind,
to see your hurt is attached like a chain,

i don't know how you hide it,
i don't know how i was so blind,
i am so deeply sorry,
for those times i wasn't kind,

i will get on my knees,
and tell you i am sorry,
i plead for forgiveness,
for if i have caused you any agony,

you always seemed lit,
but really your fire for life is out,
now that i have found out your pain,
it is like riding on a bike and getting wiped out,

i only want one question,
and i want you to be honest,
did i cause any of it,
am i the reason your personality is at it's coldest,

i will get on my knees,
beg for your forgiveness,
please forgive me,
am i the reason for this mess,

so right now i am on my knees,
and saying i am deeply sorry,
my best and greatest friend,
i am sorry for causing you any agony...................
