Sour Love

They say love is sweet,
more like sour
Its like the love i crave from you
that i would devour

The love that I felt
would never end
Its become the endless anthem
of all the feelings within

I remember your love,
feeling so great

Now that this has happened
I feel I'm just bait
Bait that you'd throw
into the ocean

The one that would be
blown and tossed with motion
It would kill me
and bring my death

The death of me
that would end my once
immortal soul and
steal my last breath

That breath would be your name
I guess its just all the same
Your love was so sweet
Now its just sour

You've become
what I feared the most
The enemy
that has begun to host

Host the arrival of anger
and all the sustaining
feelings that have
burned within

You've cut me deep
and now,
I'll never speak
once, and again
