A Promise

Tonight,
I am handing over my soul
To a poem
Sending it to your cold room
So you can hug it
Knowing it is from me.

Look,
How your love is making me a poet
It teaches me
The meaning of beauty.
Showing me,
All I need is your two beautiful eyes in this city.

Tonight,
I am handing over my heart
To a bird
Sending it for a kiss of your lips.

Look,
How a promise is keeping me alive,
Yet
Making me sleepless.

You tell me,
When will that day come
When
The roses of the garden will smile
When
A promise will be completed
The day
When
Our lips meet..........

    Wow, just wow... This piece is so deep, beautiful and full of excellently expressed emotions.
    Every line is preciously amazing.
    Second stanza is my favorite.
