Breaking Away

Digging deeper and deeper;
Loosing my mind as I'm
Going insane by distant recollections
Collecting your soul
As I continue to search for love

Looking deeper and deeper
Loosing my mind as I'm
Diminishing in your hearts memories
Vanishing from your brain
But still I continue to search for peace

Searching deeper and deeper
Loosing my mind as I'm
Dying inside- looking for your silent prayers
Seeing if they are for me
But my heart breaks from the answer

Falling deeper and deeper
Loosing my mind as I'm
Being betrayed by your very existence
My heart forgets to beat
As I slowly begin to break away

Forgetting me more and more
Loosing thoughts of me in your mind
As there is now nothing left but a memory
All I am is a hole in the earth
But my pain is deeper inside than you'll ever know

    This kind of captured my attention. Indeed this piece is really great. The flow was perfect and this poem drew pictures in my mind.

    Forgetting me more and more
    Loosing thoughts of me in your mind
    As there is now nothing left but a memory
    All I am is a hole in the earth
    But my pain is deeper inside than you'll ever know

    I really liked that line and this to me, deserves a 5/5
