when do you usually write poems?

early in the morning, late at night, in the afternoon,...?
when do you usually write poems?

6Pm-7.30pm because I do it in evening study in school.. :]

Anytime I feel anything.

when I feel it, usually after I think of something provocative, or something that sparks my interest. I think the most at night because that is when my mind wakes up and I have produced a lot of good work then. I usually write really good poems when I am caught up in a moment or feeling.

Random times really. Depends on when insiration comes. I usually end up writing two or three stanzas but then stop. So i have hundreds of unfinished poems lmao....i'll get to them one day haha! Ne wayz but I usually like writing at night before I go to sleep. =D

Usually right after I get home from school!

Sometimes in school when I have extra time in class, or after school I type them on the computer, it's easier to fix mistakes and such.

Late at night when I`m drunk

Usually at night time, Unless one pops into my head at a different time.

lately i've grown some sort of fixation for writing them after midnight, but before that I just wrote when inspiration striked, which would happen at any time.

I write mostley at night these days but i guess thats when im full awake..and thinking straight

usually after something happens to me, like if something good happens to me with a girl or if something bad happens to me

Whenever my emotions come over me, whenever I feel like I can't get out my feelings verbaly, whenever I feel "happy" "sad" "depressed" I write, I could be in a car, with my husband, and I feel like writing, I do. I carry a pen and pad everywhere I go. That's when I write, everyday, every chance I get, it's my life. For now......

when I'm inspired. either stirred to anger, sadness, or cuteness (like for a friend, or something). other times I'll just hear something and relate it back to myself or just transcribe it as is. I write it the moment it happens. during class. on napkins. etc. cos I'll get distracted with something else soon enough and might forget. if something really inspires me, I'll go back over it again and again.

Mostly when I should be sleeping, I'd say around 3 am till 6 or 7 am.
If I'm feeling inspired throughout the day I'll write then. But I prefer early morning because there aren't any distractions at that time.

how interesting. JJ, sometimes I have to write when I'm really busy because the idea hits me
at that time and I have to write immediately.

Marjan: exactly the same with me...I only get the inspiration to write when I'm extremely busy. I carry paper in my pocket all the time and tons of pencils in my hair. haha

Early in the morning, like 1:30 - 4:00 am when everyone is asleep and won't bug me

At night when I think about everything.

i'm not really affected by what time of day it is, only what has happened to me. I will write right after something very depressing or very happy has happened to me. And that affects what I write about as well, but the time isn't so important to me.

i dont have a set time to write them ..... usually when im upset !#

Usually when I finished a hot shower, it really gives me strange and great ideas.

Whenever I feel upset, thoughs flow to me like water, but when I am happy and having fun, poetry barely comes to mind. I guess I use it more as a ventilation than a hobby.

when im heartbroken or feel loved

Either when I'm at school, or at about half 3/ 4 in the morning (Insomniac)

Whether it be Friendship, Love or anything in particular.

But I jot down my thoughts throughout the day and in the evening I write a poem about those thoughts.
