A Cruel Deed

A cruel deed,
That cannot be undone.

An Unexpected battle,
Never to be won.

Unimaginable Sorrow,
Mingles in the air.

Heart breaking Sadness,
Leaving poor hearts bare.

Complete Chaos,
Never to be understood.

Tiny beating hearts,
Lost in the prime of childhood.

Hero's were created,
And some of them were lost.

A murderous rampage occurs,
And now we pay the cost.

Families are broken,
Drowning in their sorrow.

Children don't understand,
Why friends won't show up tomorrow.

A child is gone,
Killed in a place that wasn't supposed to cause harm.

A parent's little miracle,
Ripped suddenly and viciously from their safe arms.

A Brother was lost...
A Sister was, too...
Teachers, wives and Friends,
They didn't make it through.

A cruel deed,
That cannot be undone,
