I made a mistake

At night I cry myself to sleep
Praying that my dreams are deep
My dreams are my energy they give me life
They Sharpen my pain like the edge of a knife

Life is never what you expect
The past and memories I will not forget
I've made mistakes as we can see
So when I cry just leave me be

Our love and friendship may be broken
My heart and body, your only token
I see your face in the back of my mind
The Joy and happiness I can not find

I close my eyes I see your tears
I see you cry, Im facing fears
My heart aches to see your pain
I hide my tears with nothing to gain

I could say I'm sorry I could hold you tight
Babe I wuldnt mean it, it wuldnt be right
I love you forever and I always I will
The pain will always be there the void I can not fill

    ^ Some people are picky when they read poems, wouldn't is spelled wrong. Just thought I'd point that out incase someone bashes you for it lol :)

    I really enjoyed this...you have really good flow to your poems...its sad to me..I'm recently going through a rough time with my love and this poem just reminded me of my feelings...good work again!

    The rhyme, rhythm and flow are perfect. Message is honest and from the heart, I love it. My favourite lines were:
