An Old Rocking Chair...

by Dreamofolwin   Apr 15, 2010

Sitting, swinging, in an old rocking chair,
I can still see the silver in you hair...
Still feel your presence, your warm embrace,
the last time I looked in your beautiful face.

Your memory shall live, as the years go by...
dear gran, I love you, and the reason why,
is you had a heart of purest gold,
and gave me rich memories, to have and to hold.

That was a excellent poem showing how we miss our grandparents when they pass away. Anyway good job and keep up the great work.

Little things we do on a daily basis such as this one for you, reminds of us of those we've lost. But at least we'll always carry their memory with us. Nicely done *hugs*
