Hope Whispers...

I see a light shine in the distance..
it beckons, comforts me.
Calling me from all my care,
and the things that beset me.

It tells me, all things will fail not,
and that I will surely see...
Accomplished in a future day,
plans that are dear to me.

What is it that keeps me going?
that brings down heaven to me...
That keeps my soul in safe repose...
promising better things to be.

It is a simple steadfast hope,
for hope it gives us light...
It is a heaven here on earth
making darkest days shine bright.

Yes, HOPE is my salvation,
my comfort till the end...
and when the world cries "just give up"
I'll grasp it.. it's my friend.

When the world says "Give up" , Hope whispers "Try it one more time..."
