Life Is Beautiful...

Life is beautiful in every way,
If you just take time to sit and stay;
Forget your sorrows for a while...
Enjoy each laugh, catch every smile.

It's the little things that give it worth;
Such as a sunkissed days new birth...

Bringing forth to you and me,
Every blessing rich and free.
And wonders waiting to be found,
Unto those who look around.
Take a peek and you will see;
Indulge your mind, set it free.
Forget your sorrow and your woe,
Life is beautiful!...Don't you know?

    Very uplifting poem and message, Olwin! When I've taken walks and felt the transcendence and harmony of Nature, it drowns out any negativity. We often get too carried away by ephemeral things.

    Amazing and so thought provoking to those who never open up their mind to everything around them and except daily gifts that we get every day. I am at lost to what to say as you have penned everything how it should be so that the reader could understand what was being said. A wonderful point to make in a poem about the little things in life, at least that's what I got from this poem. Good job and keep writing.

    Olwin, simply beautiful.... love the message, nice easy flow to the poem I would change he last live. The "don't you know" seems to casual to such a well rounded poem. Otherwise I thouroughly enjoyed it ...thanks for sharing
