Midnight Blue - Palindrome

by Lonely Rider   Feb 24, 2012

Blue Midnight,
captures stardust - sleepwalking,
coyotes encoring
rapturous life
with hypnotized melodies,
resonating across
intimidating yet enchanting
silence.

silence
enchanting yet intimidating
across resonating,
melodies hypnotized with
life - rapturous,
encoring coyotes,
sleepwalking stardust captures
midnight blue.

I really liked the fact that you tired this form and not just that, but you even went all out and went for longer lines and bigger words. Your poem flowed really well and it read well forwards and backwards. Your imagery is quite enchanting and gives me a good idea of what I am seeing as I read.

You really did good with this form and I am glad to see that you are ever learning and trying new ways to test your poetic skills. I hope you continue to write these amazing poems. Great job and keep writing!

Bravo, a difficult form executed wonderfully well, the theme and imagery created resonates strongly within both stanzas. I think you have captured the heart and soul of what this style of poetry is all about. If I have one criticism, as mentioned by Larry, its the with the word "encore" maybe this could be changed somehow? Other than that well done, a fascinating poem

I can only smile as I read this poem. A beautiful nature poem where animals and mother earth come together. Liked the images you painted with words! Well done with the form Raj!

I've never heard of a Palindrome before but I think you did an excellent job at attempting this type of poetry as it requires a lot of thought or time. So well done for having ago at this type of poetry.

As for the actual poem I loved it and I cannot fault it at all. You created good imagery and drew me into the piece.
