Neverland

by AnnaCG   Sep 23, 2016

The second star on the right
And straight through the night to you.
In Neverland we'd be spend forever,
Making our dreams come true.

Our initials written in the sand,
Underneath the light of the moon.
Everything we've ever needed,
We found in the month of June.

Yet now I'm here by myself,
Left to fend off this darkness alone.
And as summer fades to fall,
I'll carve a new heart from stone.

Hesitation; brought on by myself,
But it never meant I didn't love you.
So in Neverland I'll wait forever,
For the next time you fly on through.
