Stringed

by mossgirl19   Sep 25, 2017

A note escaped the violin
to forever wander
into the blindfolds of the clouds.

The violinist played
the altered melody
and his fingers felt
the missing note...

Your absence
left the masterpiece
never to be called
a masterpiece again.

I have faith that music
transcends the unknown
dimensions of the sky;
and strings will surely meet again,
this time, complete and
playing a perfect tune.

*Nanay is now resting in God's peace. Thank you for all your prayers and support, I appreciate you all.

This is truly a masterpiece in itself, and if she's looking down on us then no doubt she's proud of this. The allegory of your music missing a tune relating to your life missing your Nanay was beautifully purveyed and well-executed. Thanks for writing this superb piece!

Lady mel Liz I am in tears with this piece and the emotions I know you must be feeling as I was feeling them 12 years ago when my Nan passed and it felt like only yesterday.
My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult sad time and always.

    Take care

Beautiful Mel, it expresses what is missed when a precious Soul departs and awaits for that special time when once again it will be made whole. Using the lost note of the Violin adds to the poem in expressing the sadness, well done.
