Four small letters,
forming one word,
displayed across my screen,
a text from my love...
This one word,
signifies so much more
than its' small stature belies...
It tells me
my love is thinking of me.
That no matter what is going on,
he sees me...
He really sees me.
It tells me
I am THE most important person
in his life.
He would move heaven and earth
just to be by my side,
just to protect me from harm...
This one small text,
one word really,
is all I need,
to truly know I am loved...
This is all the comfort and safety a woman needs and wants
when she knows and really knows her man is hers and she is his
and together they look out for each other. A sweet and heart warming
write...bless you both!
Brenda, I wish I could have born 35 years earlier from the date of my birth.
You are such an adorable person, one couldn't stop himself from loving you.
You are right, this one word, really means so much. This 'one' word has the power to change lives, but only if it's true. It changed yours.
Love can doom us too, but let just stay on the positive aspects of love or your poem revolving around it.
Brenda, you always manage to surprise us with your simplicity and same goes with this one. You captured the whole essence of your poem in just four letters.
Love is all about strength just as you mentioned. Strength to protect our loved ones from every negative thing could ever happen to them or to create heaven on earth for them and finally to be by their side in paradise too.
Our dear ones are the reason behind that strength. Like you are my strength that's why I was able to write so much for a comment.
Brenda, You didn't fail anywhere in this poem to give us the true idea, the real feeling of love.
I just hope and pray it would display on the screen of Pnq Contest winners next week.
All the best!
Your true love, Naaz.
Omg, even my name has just four letters.
Naaz, thank you ever so much! You are too sweet, really. He truly makes me happy so it makes it easy. Our lives aren't complicated , we keep it simple and drama free. That's the key. I deeply appreciate all your kind words and thoughts. Hugs my friend!
