No regrets

Something happens after we are born. We develop scars each time the world hurts us. We learn how to be safe, keeping our hearts away from people who can break them.

One day though we find someone special; someone who we learn to trust with our all.

Brenda, you obviously have found that special someone. This is a lovely tribute to them.

Brenda, it's not easy to forget about our past and accept the present as a gift. This poem tells us though you have been through a lot of awful things in your life yet you have no regrets now.

Theme of the poem is love. It was love which made you feel at some point in your life that there were only failures and rejection left in life for you. You hesitated a lot about following your inner voice, your feelings. And it was love once again which gave you this confidence that even the most vulnerable things in your life could not harm you anymore. You feel like you are immortal. You had lost everything to love, and now that same feeling is giving you everything.

Atmosphere is mixed, as it starts with regrets about the choices you had to make at such young age. It looks the same till the end of the third stanza. From there, it changes to show the bright side of your life, no more clouds of rain, just warmth of love. You feel like a super women from krypton and he is your sun always shining in you life and giving you the strength you were always looking for making you invincible.

Now, you aren't in such a hurry anymore. You don't run from the situations you face them, beat them and toss them aside.
your vision, your goal in life is clear which is to accept and give, love and only love. That's why I am honored to say that we are blessed with your presence here.
