A Moment in Time

Thank you so much for our moment in time
It really meant something to me
Your page in my book it is underlined
And I'll keep it for posterity

Some people don't get a leading part
But their cameo is no less intense
A heart can be touched in a million ways
And you've left your inedible prints

I'll box up these memories just for now
I'll remember only the good
You are one of only a very few
That knew me and that understood

So thank you again for all that we shared
It was something quite special for sure
I'll never be sorry and will neither regret
It is something I'll always savour.
