The beauty in all

by Dagmar Wilson   May 1, 2019

When dark clouds are moving in
sunshine don't exist,
walls are crashing
nothing matters.

My passion for trees
has helped me along the way,
they keep loosing their leaves and still standing strong.

The sky is changing colors
from baby blue to jet black,
storms don't last forever.

This sadness comes in waves
let it take its course
the beauty in all,
we bring art to live.

    Dagmar, you are right. All storms are not forever. Just like the changing seasons it all comes back around again. Hugs you-

    Even though I could feel the pain in this, it is uplifting!! Whatever happens in life has an end, beauty us indeed in all :)

    I love the gentle mix of nature that you weave effortlessly through with a melancholy theme. Despite the sadness there is always that underlying strength that makes your poems so relatable and uplifting. It reminds me that no matter how bleak things get and how large the sadness waves that it is all transient in the scheme of things. Much love Milly x
