Swing-swing,
from her earring
Clink-clink,
is what she’s hearing.
The night so dark,
the moon so dim,
the streetlight sparks,
so she chants a hymn.

Bling-bling,
from the distance
Blink-blink,
his light an assistances.
The way he moves,
illuminates her way.
Together they groove,
by her side he stays.

Cling-cling,
onto her ankle
Chink-chink,
he softly dangles.
Safe and sound,
she’s back to her home.
He turns around,
and away he roams.

Sorry I missed this one, STAR. I haven't been commenting too much recently, but I really did enjoy this and (naturally) loved the rhyming throughout!

All the very best as ever

The clink- clink reminded me of a poem I wrote a looooong time ago. Lol Funny how one or two words can spark a light in our memories. I liked the poem. For some unknown reason I find it cute. It might have been the effect the words bling-bling clink clink chink chink creates in me.

    Good one.
