I am not alone

by Dagmar Wilson   Aug 18, 2019

When life strikes
like a thunderball landing on the ground
I got hit by the unexplainable ,
learning things I didn't know.

There will be times
I might be facing trials,
God is by my side.

A month ago my daughter who just turned 36 was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.
After spending time in the hospital they pumped her with steroids. She is home now. There are numerous lesions on her brain and spine. Her mobility in her feet and legs have become fragile and she has brain fogs. It's a journey but we keep the faith.

Life changing illness is always a difficult thing to come to terms with. Keeping the faith and concentrating on what can be done rather than what can't. Keeping positive and taking each day as it comes helps a little. You and your daughter are in our prayers. Much love Milly x

Oh, Dagmar, my heart reaches out to you and your daughter! Thank you for sharing this, this "unexplainable" and I too, hope for faith and love and understanding along this journey. It may never be a path of full answers or rests, but I pray you find some hope, help, whatever you need. And that your daughter does too. You have each other's support and unconditional love. The bond between a mother and daughter can aid in times where you are faced with these trails.

    Lots of love <3
