As we stand through time (Tetracty & Eintou)

by Meena Krish   Aug 20, 2019

Though
we are
stems apart
rumor and spite
was not able to pierce the foundation
we struggled to build, for the roots of love
runs deep into
my soil with
tears and
trust,

Let this
year and lots more
flourish and bloom bundles
of memories and laughter of
you, me and us as we
stand together
through time

Eintou: African American style poetry form

Tetractys, a poetic form invented by Ray Stebbing, consists
of at least 5 lines of 1, 2, 3, 4, 10 syllables (total of 20).
