I can smell the rain

by Dagmar Wilson   Oct 8, 2019

I have mastered in showing patience
slowly filling in the blanks
there are no words,
I sit back in complete confusion
watching this disease squeezing her nerves.

I have transformed in to a wall
her punches at times hurt,
she keeps bouncing from why and if.

I can smell the rain

My heart hurts that your daughter has to go through this and you see and try to understand too... I'm so sorry, I hope writing lets out some of the pain and anguish.

    Thinking of you both <3
