Panic Buying

by Milly Hayward   Mar 20, 2020

Stuck in isolation
for this virus thing is rife
Towns just desolation
as the shoppers shop in strife

Frenzied people hoarding
thinking only of themselves
Simply unrewarding
others finding empty shelves

Think of those in distress
and share freely of your haul
This balance please redress
pull together one and all

Let's join forces now guys
support those most in need
Be compassionate and wise
and stop this needless greed

    Hello Milly,
Needles greed indeed. A perfect call to arms in a perfect poem. Composed with a compassionate heart. Well done.
    Do take care now, Tony.
