Enchanted Dawn

by Star   Apr 21, 2020

It's this time of the day
that my spirited soul
sips on clouds.

The hushed world
dresses me
in a gown of silence,
and the preaching
golden rays
paint
my brown eyes
hazel.

But today,

my heart
is fluttering
the skies
poured their
magic here,

so

I'm sending you
stars
on west winds.

This is such a beautiful depiction of golden hour. You made it even sweeter with the ending stanza of sending stars to them, it made me think this was an equal exchange; the sun lends you light, and you lend back love for the sun to carry to someone else, really endearing :)
