Exposure

So I’m standing here yet again
whilst the camera blinks
over and over in abject horror
taking slices of my life away
with each glance.
What have I done to deserve this
except dare to exist in a world
where different is reviled.
A world where conformity is all.
Under the judgemental lens
I shiver, naked in all but truth to its
cold harsh eye.
Forsaken.
Alone.

Totally related to this one and I think it is a short but powerful piece. Absolutely loved the idea of a camera blinking, such a. Creative thought to bring to imagery!
