When You're Abandoned

I can?t believe you would believe such a lie
A rumor spread around like a disease,
Everyone was taught to ignore it but still you believed it.
No matter what, no matter who
Still there seeping through
Best friends for so long,
But now trusting someone else who replaced
You only believe the propaganda
No others do. They know the truth.
But the truth is not accepted because of you gullibility
Guilt should run through your veins but I am left clueless
Nothing to know except of your apparent hatred to this oblivious
Others tell me not to worry, its her loss of friendship
But why do I feel so bad, like it was my fault?
I thought that we were friends no matter the accusation,
That we would talk it out and not believe what everyone else says.
I tried, but you turned away.
Ignored me, talking through everyone else to get to me.
Afraid to face me?
Do you recognize my innocence,
But don?t want to be left like a fool you are?
Everything is so different. Just the other day everything was fine.
Now it all has turned into a mess left not to be cleaned.
I see what your doing.
Trying to blind me of your plot.
But I figured it out.
Trying to discard of everyone who represents me
and take them for you.
But it won?t work this time.
They thought you were an innocent thing
until you pulled this off
Talking behind a friends back,
no one likes that.
So go ahead carry this out,
But no one will be with you because they?ll remember what you allowed.
For this will be a year to reminisce in,
Since it may be my last.
But you do not know this; as I?m not going to tell you
Then the next day all of this happened.
It wont matter to you anyway,
I will be gone; your hatred will be final
And your plot to ruin my other friendships will also cease.
So is it worth it to gain more trust in one friend when you lost all the rest?
But next year, the one friend you have now who told you the lie wont be there
And you?ll want to apologize but no one will forgive because it?s too late
Because of your past decision of not thinking
how it would impact your future.
Now all you have is your beloved boyfriend,
who deceives you with you knowing it.
Now Abandoned.
You waited too late, thinking you could take what you could and then come back to the others you left behind like nothing had changed.
What a life you have because of one lie you believed.
You should have known better.
All of the times I have took up for you,
Told you everything will be ok when you had a fight with your boyfriend,
I was there for you always and never lied to you.
