Deaths ridge

As i stand upon deaths ridge
which way will i chose to fall?
to the innocence with their wings so white
or deep to the pits to forever crawl

will my guardian angel appear
to announce I'm in safe hand
that not a soul can harm me now
as she flies me from this land

or will fire slowly rise
scorching my tender skin
will i be sentenced to eternal pain
made to keep the moans within

another nightmare ends
when i sit up scared, afraid
thank god none of it was real
with these fears Ive already paid

the fears Ive cried tear after tear
countless time as i fall asleep
but even when my eyes are dry
my heart continuously weeps

shattered and torn, no trace of love
is felt within this soul
just subconscious actions made
as if someone else's in control

as if i cannot think for myself
instead i need help from some one
why they would care i do not know
all i do know is pain has won
