Thinner (drunk)

by Johnny Marlin   Jul 6, 2005

Take my life
Hold it in your hands
Do you care about me
Or do I mix with the sands

I'm just another
You tote around as a man
But you really don't care
If I turn and I ran

Maturity is present
I want to find a wife
But all these stupid girls
Just stick me with a knife

I want to find the one
Spend my life in peace
But you wouldn't care
If our love would cease

Move on and try again
I no longer care
I loved you to death
But I'm thinner than air

You couldn't have been that drunk unless the
unconscious poet within you decided to come out. Just the fact you were drunk displeases me, but the poem is pretty good. It's a shame when a talented person like yourself goes destroying his brain cells...pity.

    "Hold it in you hands"

    Should be "your hands."

    Take care of yourself. okay?
